Pre - processor > material properties> material model > structural > linear > elastic > isotropic > enter (EX = 1.2E5, PRXY = 0.34) > ok.

Pre - processor > sections > beams > common section > enter (ID = 1, Name = small end, B = 40, H = 20) > apply > enter (ID = 2, Name = small end, B = 80, H = 20) > ok.

Pre - processor > section > beams > tapper section > By X, Y, Z location > enter ( New tapper section ID = 3, Name of the section = tapper, Beginning section ID - 1 - SMALL END, X Y Z location = (0,0,0) > Ending section ID -2-BIG END, X Y Z location = (1000,0,0) > ok.

Pre - processor > modelling > create > node > in active cs > enter the below table.

NOTE: To see the thickness of the section (plot ctrls in the utility menu bar > style > size & shape > display of element "ON")
