Preference > structural > ok Pre-processor >element type > add/edit/delete > add > solid > quad 4 node 182 > ok > close. Pre - processor > material properties> material models > structural > linear > elastic >  isotropic > EX = 1.2E5 & PRXY = 0.28 > ok > materials > exit. (ANSYS APDL STRUCTURAL) Problem on Plane stress with thickness (Surface plane/ Surface plate).

Preference > structural > ok Pre-processor >element type > add/edit/delete > add > solid > quad 4 node 182 > ok > close. Pre - processor > material properties> material models > structural > linear > elastic >  isotropic > EX = 2.1E5 & PRXY = 0.30 > ok > materials > exit. Pre - processor > modeling > create > key points > (1,2,3,4,5,6) on working plane by clicking on the work plane. NOTE: Create the working plane by going into the work plane menu in the utility menu bar. (work plane > WP settings > select (Cartesian,  Grid) and give (snap increment = 1, spacing = 1, minimum = 10, maximum = -10) > ok. NOTE: To get the display of the work plane (Utility tool bar > work plane > display work plane. Pre - processor > modeling > create > lines > lines > straight lines > select the key points in the order ( 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6, 6-1). Pre -
